Recently I was approached and asked to produce a logo for an independent real estate branch. The client had several specifics in mind, including this teal shade and tree silhouette, a nod to the tree around his family’s holiday home. While developing the tree sketch, the biggest I found was how ugly the Casuarina tree can be, with not leaves but needles, looking more like hair! Eventually we agreed on this design, with a side logo featuring just the tree shape.
